Giving back

Everything we do at Stripe & Stare is about women and empowering each other.

Our company was founded on the belief that you should do to others as you would have them do to you, and we’re proud to support some brilliant charities who are working hard to make the world that bit brighter.

Our knickers symbolise all that we stand for - kind to the planet and so comfortable they leave you free to conquer the world. A company founded and run by women who always have each other’s backs.

We truly believe we are all in this together and need to work as a team, so women supporting women is a cause close to our hearts.

Supporting Trevi Women

We’ve recently donated approximately 2,000 pieces of underwear, pyjamas and loungewear to Trevi, a nationally award-winning women’s and children’s charity based in Plymouth, Devon.

Providing safe and nurturing spaces for women in recovery to heal, grow and thrive, Trevi’s compassionate and expert team provide treatment and strength to help women in crisis break free, giving them a fresh start in life. In the 29 years Trevi have been operating, they’ve helped transform the lives of thousands of women and their children. From rehab and health to housing and employment, they help any woman in recovery move from “surviving” to “thriving”. They do such an incredible job and we're so proud to give a helping hand.

We're proud to be supporting the Lorraine NoButts campaign

We are proud to be supporting the Lorraine NoButts campaign, teaming up with the incredible Deborah James @bowelbabe in order to raise awareness of the symptoms of bowel cancer. For every No Butts Knicker Box purchased, we are donating 20% of the proceeds to this important cause.

Almost 43,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer each year in the UK and more than 16,000 people die from the disease, making it the UK’s second biggest cancer killer. However, this doesn't have to be the case, early diagnosis could mean a better chance of successful treatment.

As an official supporter of the campaign, we've designed a bespoke knicker with a peach embroidered on the bum to help shout about this worthy cause.

A knicker box for Choose Love's Ukraine Crisis Fundraiser

Choose Love has raised millions to support refugees and created a movement of people putting love into action around the world, doing whatever it takes to provide refugees and displaced people with everything from lifesaving search and rescue boats to food and legal advice. That’s why we decided to team
up in support of their Ukraine Crisis Fundraiser and design a knicker box to help raise money for the cause.

We donated 100% of proceeds from our Choose Love Charity Knicker Box to the Ukraine Crisis Fundraiser and helped over 40 projects providing vital aid and services to those still in and fleeing the country, including: emergency medical care, food, shelter, clothes, legal support, mental health support, support for LGBTQIA+, BIPOC and marginalised communities.

We teamed up with Lady Garden Foundation in support of their mission to raise significant funds for gynaecological health, helping to drastically reduce diagnoses and devastating outcomes. The bespoke knicker box included four designs with the words Lady Garden, Vajayjay, Poonanie and Foofoo embroidered on them, with proceeds being donated directly to the foundation.

Joining forces with Smart Works to help give women the confidence they need to reach their full potential, secure employment and change the trajectory of their lives, we created our Smart Works Charity Knicker Box. 10% of proceeds from every Smart Works box we sold went towards helping reach and empower even more women.

Collaborating with Zoë Law and Maggie's, we created an exclusive box of inspiring knickers to celebrate their LIFE exhibition. The exhibition was a celebration of the amazingly courageous people who visit Maggie’s and the 21st birthday of the charity, marking 21 years of providing vital support to anyone living with cancer.

Since launching in 2017, we've made thousands of donations to the NHS, providing our key workers with comfortable knickers, lounge and sleepwear. We're forever grateful for their services and will continue to donate as our business grows.

The good doesn't stop there
